Pokémon lovers too! 🦊 This easy-going course is aimed at learners who are interested in starting or continuing their Japanese language journey, and love Pokemon. Discover Japan through its language and anime! ✨ Learning Japanese in this self-pace course is at the learner’s independent pace, own time, and convenience. Learners will follow along as if it was a set of on-going live classes. Learners may watch the pre-recorded videos (containing Teacher Lynn リン 先生), complete the writing and vocabulary practice, homework activities, and write their in-class assignments any time during the course! There are no live zoom classes. In this course, learners will be introduced to animals, nature places, and elements vocabulary in Japanese with the use of Pokemon! Common sentences and grammar in Japanese will be used for learners to create a Pokemon card in Japanese. In the last lesson, learners will review and play games. 🎮 This course is 4 lessons long. Videos, Discussion, Games and/or Worksheets will be provided every lesson. ~ TOPICS: Lesson 1: Intro to Japanese, Animals Vocabulary 🐶 Lesson 2: Nature and Elements Vocabulary 🌲 Lesson 3: Common Basic Sentences and Grammar🖊️ Lesson 4: Card Making, Review and Games 🎁 🌟 Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) will: 1) Provide the videos lessons containing Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) ▶️ 2) Create discussions on the in-class assignment of the lesson 💬 3) Attach Homework worksheets to the classroom 📝 4) Provide vocabulary practice on Memrise and Quizlet, and game on Kahoot 🎮 Learners are highly recommended to participate in the class activities, questions, and games (the Outschool platform classroom, Memrise, Kahoot, Lexilogos, Quizlet and Youtube are used). Learners will also be recommended to scan or take photos of their completed homework activities. Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) completed her Master’s degree in Oita, Japan. She was a teaching assistant for Japanese middle school, high school, and university in-person classes in Japan. She has been living in Japan for 7 years (since 2017). Teacher Lynn not only intensely studied the Japanese language, but fell in love with Japanese culture and discovered the passion for sharing such a beautiful language with students. She has been a private Japanese online tutor for over 5 years (since 2019).
