Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint using acrylic paints? OR, do you want to practice painting using acrylic paints? In this private class, we will create whimsical acrylic paintings! This class will be step-by-step as I will provide clear and precise instruction on how to paint the subject of the week. You can take this class to work on your painting skill and/or to create pieces for your portfolio if you're thinking of applying to art school! My teaching style is very positive...
- Student will learn how to mix and apply paint to a canvas. The student will also learn painting techniques, such as blending, shading, highlighting, drybrush, etc., as well as some basic drawing skills!
I attended Moore College of Art & Design where I majored in Art Education. I graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts and am certified to teach students in K-12.
Canvas or canvas board of any size. Acrylic paints (red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, orange, brown, violet). Paintbrushes of various sizes. White chalk. Cup. Water. Paper towels. Hair dryer (for drying paint faster on the canvas). Palette, palette paper or paper dish. Pencil. If any additional materials are needed, I will let you know in advance. :)
A hairdryer is required. Please use caution as the device can get hot.
