In this class, students will learn how to mix skin tones of all shades by using only the primary colors. The primary colors include red, blue, yellow, With the inclusion of black and white acrylic paint. With this color mixing technique, we will utilize these colors to create a giraffe painting. As I teach, it’ll be a tutorial style, where I show students how to draw the giraffe, How to mix the colors on a pallet or paper plates, as well as where to place those colors and how to mix and blend to create a realistic giraffe painting. As I am teaching, I will encourage and give advice to students who ask for help as well as add tips and tricks while we are all painting together so that way they can see how we’re painting it how we’re mixing it as well as why it is important to learn how to mix your colors.
