Students are encouraged to share their work with Rozine and other learners, by holding their artwork up to the camera often and intermittently. Praise and recognition is awarded, regardless of skill level. Rozine stresses the importance of each artist liking their own work—and if they see something they don't like, she motivates them to find the solution to fix the problem. 課堂經歷
During this course, students draw several different science fiction inspired characters and environments. Children have fun with Rozine's curriculum which includes seasonal pop art, cartooning, and graphic design. Rozine will guide students step by step, stacking basic geometric shapes with pencil until the shapes of each character and scene are established. Details like texture, background content, character choices, and magical ideas are added. Students choose to leave art as is, continue shading with pencil, outlining with ink or marker and/or coloring. If time allows, Rozine may share shading and texturing techniques with colored pencils. That being said, the main focus will be on drawing and adding intricate details. Students may use whichever coloring utensils they are most comfortable with (markers, crayons, pastels, paint). Students can create on digital software if they are proficient, but Rozine will be demonstrating on paper.
