This class, designed for middle and high school students, gives practical tips, tools and strategies to be a successful listener, note-taker, reader, writer and speaker. The class discusses memorization tips, writing strategies, organizational techniques and much more! 

The expectations in middle and high school change academically - will you be ready? 

This one time class is designed as a pre-cursor to the Middle School Study Skills class. Though the course is not a pre-requisite to take before the study skills course, it does give the student many opportunities to think about and be praperd to be a successsful student. 
This class is run using a slide-show and a Socratic seminar style discussion with some lecture. It is an interactive class and helps students understand what it will take for them to be successful in and out of school.
