This class includes both discussion and kinesthetic learning. As we decorate our party invitations we identify primary and mixed colors, and talk about what that means. Next we offer our invitations to our stuffed animal friends, and start our rainbow dance party! After a free-style warm-up dance, we move on to dances about colors and the conditions that come together to create rainbows. Students will be learning about scientific concepts as they move and express their individual...
Students will learn about the science behind how we see colors, and why we see rainbows. We practice our fine motor skills as we make party invitations. We use our large motor skills and work on balance and flexibility as we teach each other dance moves.
