We will learn all about Laura Ingalls Wilder, who she was, where she travelled, and how she came to write this series of books. We will begin in Wisconsin in 1867 and follow her family onto the prairie of Kansas, then to Minnesota, South Dakota, and on! I have been a special education teacher for many years, and I am more than happy to accommodate any learning needs for your child!
Learners do not need anything for this class - I will provide a slide with any reading passages, discussion questions, etc.
We will refer to Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder and the book "Pioneer Girl" which is an annotated autobiography by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
