Students will learn all about the koala including the anatomy, feeding, behavior, habitat and koala family life both in the wild and also in refuges and zoos. Conservation is stressed throughout the course. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. At the end of the class students will learn how to draw a cute koala hanging on a tree in the Australian Outback. There will be time to to ask questions, comment and discuss the Koala.
