Calling all my Preschool Friends!  Please come and join this certified substitute teacher in this ongoing class that learners will be practicing their Preschool and Kindergarten Skills and Standards.

The teacher will divide the week by day and subject.  We will end the week by using games and sharing to practice concepts that they have learned that week.  These Preschool concepts maybe a review for some, but it is important at this age to repeat and practice. 
I want this class to be encouraging and fun for these young learners.  Each student will be gently encouraged to participate.  I will be using slide presentations and worksheets for students to use during class.  If you are not able to print worksheets, then learner can write on paper or whiteboard.  Additional practice paper, pencil, and crayons will be useful during class time as well.  

*********Students will be muted at times when needed to minimize background noise. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute or I ask that you sit with them during class so they are able to share when it's their turn.  It can be very frustrating and sad for learners when they cannot unmute themselves.  We as teachers do not have the capability to unmute them.   *******

CLASS TIME
Each Day we will greet each other, learn about the calendar, practice writing our names as well as what is designated below.  Brain breaks will be introduced as needed as well as movement to get our wiggles out:

Day 1  Reading/phonics/writing
We will introduce and practice the letter of the week or site words of the week.  Also, concepts that will be addressed are phonics, site words, cvc words, reading, story telling, prediction, same, different, opposites.

Day 2 - Math/sharing and games
Math concepts such as introduce and writing number of the week, counting, number recognition, number sense, patterns, tracing, simple addition and subtraction. 

Themes: Besides animals, teacher many include thematic lessons such as weather and holidays.
