袋鼠數學競賽預備班：7 年級及 8 年級

The Math Kangaroo competition, an international math competition for students in grades 1-12, is held annually. The competition is held in over 100 countries with millions of students participating. The competition is held once a year, always on the third Thursday in March. 

The competition for grades 7 and 8 focuses on developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills through engaging math problems.

Each class will have a basic, medium, and hard questions from previous Kangaroo Math competitions for Grades 7-8. 

We will solve Kangaroo Math problems by adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational numbers and using the powers of natural numbers.

We will use Algebra to solve past Kangaroo Math problems using equations, inequalties, and systems of equations.

We will solve past Kangaroo Math problems using Geometry: acute, right, obtuse, and supplementary angles. We will use the sum of angles in a triangle and in a quadrilateral, lines and rays on a surface. 

We will use Geometry also to solve past Kangaroo Math problems on the area of a rectangle, a triangle and a circle as well as the volume and surface area of geometric figures.

We will also solve past Kangaroo Math problems using Mathematical logic.
