This class is for students who use the Eureka Math or Engaged New York curriculum. I am able to assist students with any questions they may have about their homework. I can help with individual questions or whole homework pages. During the class, I will reteach the concept using strategies from the corresponding Eureka lessons. I can also check homework for correctness as needed. This class is scheduled for a short period of time for students who only have a short question can be assisted. Students are welcome to schedule multiple consecutive sessions if they need extended assistance.

Hi! I'm Caroline Allums.
I'm a Math Instructional Coach at a public school in Athens, Georgia. I was a 4th and 5th grade homeroom teacher for 8 years before I headed out of the classroom to coach teachers.
While I love being a coach, I’m passionate about teaching teaching kids! I have most experienced in fourth and fifth grade but I have worked teaching math in all elementary grade levels.
I hold both a Master’s and
a Specialist Degree in Curriculum & Instruction as well as a Gifted & Talented Endorsement. Certified
in Elementary Education and Curriculum & Instruction, I have experience with Common Core and
Georgia Standards of Excellence and have designed a rigorous classroom environment that
creatively engages this content. I enjoy working with both gifted students and students with disabilities.
