The teacher will lead junior scientist through the steps of the scientific method to make predictions, conduct the experiment, and discuss results. Experiments will include: Week of August 12: growing balloon Week of August 19: homemade ice-cream Week of August 26: erupting lemon Week of September 2: no class Week of September 9: elephant toothpaste Week of September 16: cleaning pennies **Substitutions of science supplies may not result in same results**

Hello, my name is Ms. Stephanie! I have been on Outschool for almost 3 years and teaching for the past twelve years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Elementary Education. I have been a tutor and a lead classroom teacher for Kindergarten and First Grade. I love working with children and seeing them learn and grow. I believe children learn best through having fun and participating in engaging activities.
I also have a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. I am able to use this degree to teach learners about emotions, fears, personality, etc.
I have visited several countries and lived in four different states. I have two children of my own.
