Want writing to be fun? Want core-learning support for your 6-8 year old this year? Young writers will become stronger writers as they brainstorm, create visual outlines & write paragraphs, poems, and memoirs - A NEW piece each week! This 4-Week Writing Class will provide enriched lessons, feedback, and a space for students to grow in practical & creative writing. We will cover these 4 topics - though we may switch up the order! Week 1 Interview Yourself: Writing a Memoir and/or First Person Narrative Week 2 Poet and You Know It: Writing Poetry Week 3 You Have an Opinion: Writing a Paragraph Week 4 Journal the Journey: Journal Writing Practice Learners will have a safe space to grow the creative, reflective & sensitive side of their writing! Together we will brainstorm, flesh out ideas & write, write, write!
