In this fun and interactive writing class, students will be given a series of self-esteem-based writing prompts to work on. Such prompts may include: What do you think is your greatest talent? or What makes you unique? These prompts will encourage students to express their feelings and share their thoughts. I will give a time limit, and students are encouraged to at least write four to five sentences. After the time allotment, I will ask each student to share what they wrote. I may ask...
Leaners will learn to be more confident in themselves and their writing abilities.
I have taught English in our homeschool classroom for over eight years. Writing is one of my favorite subjects to teach, I have worked with many students through the classroom setting and dramatic arts setting to help build confidence and self-esteem. I have a special needs daughter that I work with and encourage to write down her thoughts to better help her cope with her feelings. I also currently teach another class on Creative Writing for Outschool.
Paper, pencils. pens, or laptop with Office or notebook on it.
