Are you a beginner piano student in the mood for some holiday tunes? Join us as we celebrate the holiday season by playing Jingle Bells and some holiday-themed music games. First, we will review finger numbers and play a related holiday-themed music game. Then we will review rhythm notation by clapping to some holiday-themed lyrics. Then I will teach everyone how to play Jingle Bells, step by step. All attendees will receive my sheet music arrangement of Jingle Bells upon...
Students will review reading in finger number notation on the black keys and learn to play the chorus of Jingle Bells.
As a teacher with over twenty years of experience, I have been running my own piano studio full-time for the last decade. I started learning music in piano lessons when I was four years old and am currently teaching my 15th academic year as a piano teacher. I also am a former public school visual art teacher, university adjunct professor, swim instructor, dance teacher, and math tutor.
