Students will be improving their Spanish skills, while learning about a new educational topic each week in a fun and interactive way. In order to develop fluency and increase all other Spanish skills, reading followed by discussion is an important part of this class. Each session will begin with a few minutes of conversation, followed by a grammar lesson and activity . The students will then procede to learn about the topic of the week (solar system, different ecosystems, character traits) which will include a drawing activity. The last part of each class, will be dedicated to practice reading and reading comprehension. This ongoing class is for students who already have at least a high beginner to intermediate knowledge of Spanish, not for new learners. Please reach out to me with any questions, if you are not sure if your child is the right for for this class.

Students will become more fluent, by actively participating throughout the sessionThey will also improve other Spanish skills through learning not only grammar, but also about different educational topics such as geography, science, art and other subjects that are age related.

I am a certified educator in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and a native speaker from Colombia. I have been working with children since 2003 and joined Outschool in April 2020; it has been a very rewarding and fulfilling adventure!
I have experience in teaching and tutoring all levels in Spanish, English and math. I have also worked as a program coordinator in the nonprofit sector, where I designed and developed several courses and classes for after school programs and summer camps for ages 6 - 18 years.
