Children need time to socialize and have fun, even online. Games are a great way to do that…but how? In this on-going, drop-in class, the students will be playing games as a way to interact with each other and learn socializing skills. I will lead the games, with the goal that the students will be the primary players and I will only be a resource to prepare and facilitate the games, as well as conduct classroom management. The student will learn socialization skills. At the same time, it is my intent that the games keep their brains active, recalling information that they may already know.
Any dice or other supplies needed will be provided the week before class. Supplies are rarely needed.
No outside work other than occasionally printing something in preparation for class. Games are created in PowerPoint and used only as a screen share.
