The class will focus on all levels of the ISEE test. Each week we will cover different strategies to use going through each part of the test. We will start by talking about basic strategies that help with the test and go on to specifics that this test has on it. Students should be ready to engage in instruction through methods of discussion with the teacher as well as other students in the class. I encourage interactions with each other in my classes and will be using slides, games and lecture during class times. There is no required experience, just to come with an open mind.

Students will learn different test strategies given in each part of the ISEE test. We will go over strategies to be used in the Math, Reading, Verbal, and Quantitative parts. We will also talk about distractions, anxiety, and variables in testing situations that all can be controlled.其他詳情

Hi, I'm Mr. Wilson. I am excited to assist students in learning testing strategies and techniques to increase their scores and to reduce test anxiety. I have been teaching testing strategies for over 10 years as I have worked as an educator and tutor for students ages 8 years old to 18. I have taught several different subjects from High School Social Studies, and High School English to Middle School Math, Science, English and Social Studies. I have been a Special Education teacher going on 8 years and tutor testing strategies for all kinds of test including HSPT, TACHS, ACT, HiSET, SAT, SSAT, ISEE and others. I'm all about differentiated instruction (figuring out what works best for an individual student) and inquiry based learning (asking questions that will lead the student to the answer). Something personal about myself is that I love to work on my Old Pre-1860s House. 評論
