In this class, students will learn tricks and techniques artists use to create an illusion of depth on a flat 2D surface of a drawing. Students will see and reflect on examples of world art, and follow drawing demonstrations while adding personal creative elements to their projects. Learners will need basic school/art supplies: unlined paper (copy paper or a sketchpad), sharpened #2 pencils, erasers, coloring materials of choice (markers, crayons or coloring pencils are all fine).
