Welcome to Stock Market Investing Summer Camp, This course will provide foundational knowledge, principles, and skills for learners who want to begin their investing journey. The ultimate goal of this class to build knowledgable investors ready to make informed decisions when purchasing stocks as an asset. This class will serve students will little to no experience with the stock market. Here is a list of content covered: Class 1: Introduction to the Stock Market, Assets, and Liabilities Class 2: Introduction to Stock Market Forces, Changes, and Charts Class 3: Understanding Individual Stocks vs. Index Funds vs. Mutual Funds Class 4: Stock Market Investment Activity Class will include 2 weeks, during which we will discover new vocabulary words and apply them to the stock market. Each class will feature a combination of teacher led material, class discussion, question and answer, and mini activities/projects for the students to take the material learned and apply in real time, to the real market.
