課堂經歷
This class teaches the basics of voice-over acting. Every week we will focus on a different area of voice-over technique. Students will learn the genres of animation, film, and audio-books while also creating their own content. Each class will consist of lectures and exercises relating to different genres of voice-over performance. Weekly activities include character and music integration acting techniques. Students will have an opportunity to create and present their own content as well as work with instructor-provided scripts. There will be opportunities for instructor and peer feedback as well as discussions around content-creation and social media. The class culminates in a final project which will be developed and practiced throughout the weekly lessons. No previous voice-acting experience is necessary to take the class. It is recommended for seasoned actors and beginners as well. Day 1: Introduction and commercial voice over activities Day 2: Animated Movies voice over activities Day 3: Creating Your Own Content and Wrap-up of CYOC Day 4: Solo Practice and Partner Preview and Recording Day Day 5: Audio-book “Performance”/Presentation Day
