This self-paced Introduction to Veterinary Science course provides a comprehensive overview of animal health and veterinary care, designed for learners aged 13-18. Students will explore topics such as animal anatomy, disease prevention, diagnostic techniques, nutrition, and animal behavior. We'll also discuss real-world veterinary scenarios, ethical considerations in animal care, and career pathways in the field of veterinary science. The course is structured into weekly modules that students can complete at their own pace. Each module includes lessons, videos, quizzes, and written activities to enhance learning. Students will have access to detailed notes and resources for further exploration. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, curiosity, and engagement. The course is designed to accommodate different learning preferences with a mix of instructional methods, including video lectures, fun trivia games, real-life case studies, and optional discussion boards for peer and instructor interaction. While this course is self-paced, learners are encouraged to ask questions and share their progress through the platform's messaging system, where I provide guidance and feedback.
