In the Introduction to the Stock Market (Ages 15 to 18) class, learners will find the answers to the following questions:

•	What is a stock?
•	What is a stock market?
•	What can you trade in the stock market?
•	How does the stock market work?
•	Why do we need the stock market?
•	How do you measure stock market health?
•	How do you research a stock?

I teach using lesson slides and frequently introduce questions to reinforce learner knowledge and critical thinking. During the lesson, we will also see a real-world example. My teaching philosophy is to help learners understand why the information is important and how it can be used. Understanding the structure of the stock market allows learners to better understand its contribution to many investment strategy outcomes. Learners will benefit from my extensive working experience and educational background in the financial industry. I will provide my lesson slides (includes discussion answers and a detailed glossary) after class to help learners keep their newfound knowledge.
