課堂經歷
This class is all about learning about the basic shapes. First, we will discuss the name of each shape and what it looks like. Then, we will learn how to make each shape using modeling dough! This class will be interactive and hands on as they use the modeling dough to create the different shapes! At the end of the class, we will try to brainstorm different objects that are made of these shapes (ex: clock is a circle, window is a square, etc) The students do not need to know the different shapes beforehand, but it could help them out if they already do!
學習目標
The students will learn about the six basic shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, diamond, and oval. They will also learn how to form the shapes by using modeling dough. The students will also be working to improve their fine motor skills by using the modeling dough.
