This is an introduction to equine science that will include topics such as evolution, anatomy, nutrition and horse health. We will learn common terminology and breeds, markings and more! Students are encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts as they go through the lessons with the teacher in the online classroom comments. Optional assignments in each lesson and can be shared in the online classroom.

In this lesson we will review a variety of breeds, their common uses and how to recognize them based on what they look like. Colors and markings will also be covered. 2 作業

Anatomy
Understanding equine anatomy is important and in this lesson learners will have a chance to learn pony parts and also to create an equine skeleton project! 1 作業

I am a certified veterinary technician, University equine studies instructor and have bred, raised and shown Arabian horses for more than 30 years. I have a M.Ed. from Colorado State University and a Master of Veterinary Education from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine.
I love teaching others about horses! My interest in horses began when I was very young and I love to encourage those who have an interest to learn as much as they can about these amazing creatures!
