Students will learn :
-fractions of a whole
-fractions of a group
-how to make models of fractions 
-parts of a fraction: numerator / denominator 

This class is in the form of powerpoint, combined with online interactive resources.  Students will have access to the online manipulatives during the live class.  

Students should also have a pencil/paper and/or a whiteboard for the live class.

This is a very basic fractions course designed for beginners or students who struggle to understand the concept. Students do not need any background knowledge of fractions, but do need to be able to count and solve basic addition and subtraction facts. 

There is no homework, but optional resources will be provided at the end of class.
