Drawing or sketching paper preferred (but students are welcome to use plain white printer paper if necessary)

Pencils: HB pencil, and preferably one or two with softer leads, such as 4B, 6B etc. (if no soft pencils are available, just the HB will still be fine for this introduction)

Eraser: kneadable gum eraser is preferred, but any functional eraser that doesn’t leave marks will be fine

Your hand: able bodied students with two hands will be asked to use their non-dominant hand as a model, if this is not possible, a photo reference of someone else’s hand will be acceptable. 

The preferred art supplies are available at any local art store.
