Get ready to have fun while learning to play the ukulele. 

This class will focus on fundamental techniques such as holding the ukulele, proper posture, and basic strumming patterns.

We will learn and practice a new song each week, incorporating the techniques covered,
using popular and kid-friendly songs to keep the class fun  and engaging.

Time will be provided for students to showcase what they've learned and they will be
encouraged to play sections of the song or demonstrate specific techniques.

I will assign simple and enjoyable practice homework to reinforce learning.

Week of January 14: 
Intro to the Ukulele - Holding, tuning and strings

Week of January 21:
Review previous lesson and learn a strumming pattern

Week of January 28:
Introduce 2 new chords and new strumming patterns - learn a song

Week of February 4:
Review previous weeks song and add new song
