每週 2-4 小時. Each week students will be assigned homework to complete for the following week. There will also be a discussion prompt on flipgrid each week. Week 1: The assignment this week is to pick a president and to find 2-3 sources to research. Week 2: Students will take notes from their sources. Week 3: Students will write their paper. Week 4: Final paper and a presentation are due (presentations will be recorded and posted in our discussion group on Flipgrid).評估
Final papers will be submitted to the teacher and graded on a rubric that will be provided during class.評分

Cross-Curricular Learning opportunity: History and English This 4 unit course will look at the basics of research papers. Students will learn about research, how to search topics, how to write notes, convert those notes into a paper and how to edit and revise the paper. Students will also learn how to create a presentation and poster for their topic.

Students will be required to get on the internet to research their president. They can also use books if wanted. Students will need to be able to print a worksheet and take notes on their research. They will also need to be able to type up a paper to submit to the teacher.
