Students will learn what a number line is and how to use it to add or subtract objects. They will make a project in class that they can color and use for future math problems. 

I have been a math tutor since 2014. I have a degree in Child Development so I understand how a child thinks and their attention span, especially towards a tougher subject, such as math. I try to make it as fun and educational as I can. I have taught over 1500 online classes on various platforms.

We will do most of the projects in class. The student will need paper and a pencil, or a whiteboard. I will ask you to print off some items before class starts so we can cut them out/color them during class. There will be a few extra math equations I will send home for extra practice.

This class moves in stages. We will review the numbers 1-10, then make our number line, then begin to solve equations. The learners will be assessed in each stage to check for comprehension and understanding.
