To discover and learn without realising it, because you are having fun! By the end of this class the learner will understand what the Carbon Cycle is and how this relates to the Greenhouse Effect. We'll look at alternatives to using hydrocarbons as an energy and manufacturing source and why this is such a "hot" topic in the world today.
I have a BSc in Geology and an MSc in Geophysics and have chosen the most interesting and exciting subjects to teach to get young minds fascinated by Earth Sciences and the environmental issues that affect us all.
This class talks about Global Warming and Climate Change causing more frequent natural disasters, which some students may find distressing. This class uses screen share to show PowerPoint slides with text and pictures. Some classes also show short videos. No other 3rd party tools are used.
