Join us for a fun and engaging class where 2D shapes meet fractions! Students will explore the world of geometry by identifying and analyzing different 2D shapes, their properties, and how they relate to everyday life. Then, we’ll bring in fractions as we divide shapes into equal parts, learning concepts like halves, thirds, and quarters through hands-on activities and visual aids. This class is perfect for building foundational math and geometry skills in an exciting and approachable way!

My name is Teacher Aneesa and I am beyond excited to be present in the Outschool community to help spread the love for learning. I come to you with a Masters of Arts in Teaching specializing in Early Childhood Education from Walden University and an ESL certification (TESOL). I am a licensed teacher who has been in the teaching arena for 14 years and I can honestly say that I still truly love what I do with every fiber within me. My teaching experience includes pre-k (80-85% ESL students every class), kindergarten and 1st grade. Also, my high schoolers and elementary child have expanded my teaching abilities as well. Children are our precious gifts and I am passionate about participating in the process of helping to mold them into their best selves. Exposure to all aspects of education is a must especially when it comes to building that educational foundation. 評論
