Cursive writing is becoming a lost art. Learning to write in cursive is shown to improve brain development in the areas of thinking, language and working memory. Cursive handwriting stimulates both your right and left hemispheres, which is something printing and typing does not do. I have been an educator for over 10 years, and a homeschool mom. I taught many students how to write in cursive and seen how much it has helped them with their memory and thinking skills. I have used these methods with my daughter when she was in second grade, and her writing and reading skills have expanded.
Please bring: Pen (pencils are hard to see on the computer screens) Primary handwriting paper: Paper with solid and dotted lines Crayons Printer Paper and a smiling face 😀
Parents are always encouraged to help, but must stay off camera during class.
