課堂經歷
This class is best suited for students who have taken some intermediate courses with Scratch. Students must be familiar with Scratch. This class is intermediate. Students must have completed 6 projects with Scratch. This class is faster paced and has lots of code. ---------------------------- ****This class will not teach the basics of using Scratch nor is it a beginner coding class. ****** ---------------------------- This class is very interactive and focuses on project based learning. This class promotes creativity and innovation. Students will have many opportunities to ask questions when needed. ---------------------------- Students will learn the following: - A teacher guided tutorial on how to make a themed Minecraft game. (BEWARE: the zombie might hug you). ---------------------------- SCRATCH LEVELS: Everyone on Outschool teaches Scratch differently. Our level system is different from other teachers. If this is your first class. I recommend sending us a message about the projects your child has done. We can provide recommendations on which level would be appropriate. We will try our best to place them in the correct level. It can be difficult to assess the correct level when we have not taught the child prior. ______________________ REQUIREMENTS FOR CLASS: Saving Documents: 1. Students will be required to save a file on their desktop and load it on Scratch. I will have instructions on how to load the file. Parents must have knowledge on saving files on their desktop. (Most students require parental support, an email will be sent). This will need to be completed before coming to scheduled class Coding: 1. Students will be required to have a desktop computer or a laptop to take this class in order to code on Scratch 3.0. Students should not be using tablets or iPad's. 2. Students are required to have a keyboard during class, this will help them code. 3. Students may take the class with one device but they will need to have two screens opened at the same time. 4.
