This is for kids who have been in full body yoga workout for awhile, and are ready to level up to more difficult exercises and more challenging yoga poses. A lot of kids in my "Full Body Yoga Workout" class have been asking to do more advanced yoga poses and fitness exercises. Overall health and fitness, including strength, flexibility, and balance. This class gets into more advanced poses like arm balances and inversions. We will also up the intensity of the cardio game. We will aim to go for 12-15 minutes with the Sweat Deck rather than our usual 10 minutes.
I am a certified and experienced yoga instructor (200-hour E-RYT) with more than a thousand hours of teaching experience. I run and operate my own kids yoga business, Yoga Kid Co. I love working out and I love teaching yoga. I teach from a trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive lens paying respect to the ancient traditions of yoga, while also providing a fun and active class experience. I prioritize safety first and always encourage learners to "listen to their bodies" when it comes to trying new poses and exercises.
