During this private tutoring class, the student will learn how to write a successful expository or persuasive essay. The student will be expected to come to class with an already written essay on a provided essay prompt (or the student can provide a draft of a current school assignment). The student will improve his/her essay writing skills through expository or persuasive writing.
Prior to attending law school, I taught high school English for eight years, and currently, I am a basic skills writing instructor at a local community college. During my last year of law school, I was a teaching assistant for a legal writing course and the text editor for law review. I also published an article in our online law review.

At least three days prior to the class, I will post an essay topic in the classroom. The student will be expected to read the essay prompt and write an essay prior to the class. The student will share the essay on Google Docs before the start of the class so I can review the essay with the student. If you share the essay with me at least 24 hours prior to the class start time, then I can read and evaluate the essay before class starts.0 - 1 每週課外時間
