This is a weekly tutoring session that will help students to learn and practice the various aspects of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, along with beginning algebra. Included are single, double and triple digit numbers, multiplication and division with fractions, finding percentages, solving decimals, one and two-step equations, and unknown variables. In each lesson, there will be practice exercises, word problems, and related videos. The word problems can include various topics such as school, food, travel, and sports. Towards the end of the class, students will be given an opportunity to say what they learned.

I am a certified online teacher, teaching math, grammar, English, reading, and history at various levels to children and adults. I have an MS in Instructional Design and Technology, with 10+ years experience. I have written and published three technical books on Amazon. In November 2018, I received my TEFL certification. My goal has been to not only develop courseware but to also experience teaching. I believe teaching is the core of effective instructional design. My work has included diverse instructional projects helping different learners acquire needed skills and knowledge.
In my spare time, I watch and analyze basketball, partake in social matters and advocacy, exercise, write books and articles, do landscape paintings, and work on interior and exterior housework.評論
