In this ongoing class, I will work with the student independently to help him or her obtain their English learning goals. Because this class will be tailored to the student's needs, I would like to speak about the child's current abilities and goals prior to class so that we can spend the class time in the most productive way. If you are unsure of your student's current level or areas that need improvement, I can assess your student in the first class. We will work on everything from reading, speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension. This is an ongoing class, so learners will be automatically enrolled each week. I will gladly adjust the number of classes per week to the student's needs. Once enrolled in this class, I will send you a message asking questions about the learner and the goals of the learner so that I can create a lesson best suited for your student. I look forward to meeting your learner!

Hello!
My name is Morgan Hernandez and I am an online ESL teacher, mom to a spirited 2 year old, and a former barber. I have been teaching online for the past 3 years and love that this unique classroom setting allows me to meet student from all parts of the world. I hold a B.A. degree in Human Development with a focus in Early Childhood Education from California State University Long Beach. I have always loved working with students and have worked in both the classroom and after school settings. I currently live in Florida with my family, which includes a dog(Axel) and cat(Arthur). I have a passion for animals and would have a zoo if my husband allowed it!
All of the classes I will teach will come from my passions for animals, reading, writing, American governments, sewing, hair grooming and having fun. One of the most important lessons I learned from working as a barber was to truly listen to people and appreciate each individual’s unique qualities. When working with students, one of my main goals is to help them feel confident and proud of the traits that make them who they are.
