Independence Day in the United States is July 4th. Join me as we look at the history and significance of the Declaration of Independence. We'll understand why this document was written and the different parts of the Declaration of Independence. We'll also explore the group of people who wrote and signed the Declaration. Not all people in America received independence through this event. Through the use of primary sources, Google Slides, Classkick and a Kahoot review game, we'll understand...
Learners will be able to identify the part of the Declaration of Independence. Learners will be able to explain the purpose of the document by reading excerpts from primary sources and group discussion. Learners will explore how the Declaration of Independence impacted people in different ways. Learners will learn facts about the people who wrote and signed the Declaration of Independence. Learners will demonstrate understanding through a final review game.
