I am a Licensed General Education Teacher and Professional Dancer. I have taught dance classes for the past 10 years and have experience implementing my teaching knowledge into personalized lessons. My personal choreography has been showcased on multiple stages around the United States and I have taught in both school and studio settings.
Wear clothes you can move and groove in! Socks, jazz shoes, or gym shoes are all welcome. For your safety, make sure you are using no-slip socks and on a floor that has grip for your feet. We will be moving around on one leg and turning, so please have a safe space with room to move your arms and legs.
Dance requires physical participation, therefore, please make sure your child has an open workout space, slip-proof socks or bare feet, a water bottle near by, and activewear type clothing. Since I am not physically present in the room with the dancers, injuries from moving around are possible if not properly supervised by an adult.
