In this ongoing course, we will practice our reading comprehension skills by reading non fiction passages. Approximately 24 hours before our scheduled class time, a non fiction passage and worksheet will be posted in the classroom for learners to DOWNLOAD and PRINT. Please bring these sheets to class. We will read the passage together, find the important details in the article, answer questions and write a short paragraph about what we read. Learners should already be able to read paragraphs...
Learners will be able to show that they understand the content of the passages read.
I have been an instructional assistant for the past seven years leading one on one and small group reading intervention and classroom small group activities in grades kinder- 6th. I am also an elementary school substitute teacher. I was also an English tutor online for children in China.

Learners who were unable to finish the writing portion during the allotted class time are encouraged to complete their work after class. Learners can also reread the passage on their own to practice fluency.提供的評估
