Hi Families! Class Lesson Plan: 1. Greeting 2. Intro to Digraph 1 3. Intro to Digraph 2 4. Class Word Sorting 5. Reading of a short 1 page story featuring the Digraph 6. Individual writing of Digraph words 7. Review 8. Closing Digraphs are a necessary building block in the progression for young readers. In this class, students will be focusing on 1-2 digraphs each class. Together we will create a list of words to sort. We will also create and read a short story featuring those words. Students will have time to practice writing and reading aloud. Meeting 1 Intro + Diagraph "sh" Meeting 2 Diagraphs "ch" and "th" Meeting 3 Diagraphs "ph" and "wh" Meeting 4 Review

Students will master consonant digraphs and improve reading.
