人體藝術與科學俱樂部

In this ongoing class, students will study a different body system/body part each week. Some examples of topics that will be covered are: The Brain, the Eye, the Skeletal System, the Circulatory System, and many more! Each class will begin with a vibrant presentation. Students will be encouraged to participate in discussions and ask/answer questions. They will then participate in a hands-on activity to help them remember the content. We will make 2D and 3D models of the human body and engage in science experiments to explore how the body works. We will use simple materials that you can find at home.

Cardboard or paper
Mini marshmallows/cotton balls/little pebbles/anything to resemble teeth
Glue
Scissors
Coloring materials

Optional: an old toothbrush

Week of April 27: NO CLASS
Week of May 4: Weird Why Part 1
Week of May 11: The Spine
Week of May 18: Weird Why Part 2
Week of May 25: Vital Organs
Week of June 1: Weird Why Part 3 (Common Illnesses)
Week of June 15: The 5 Senses





No prior knowledge about the human body is required in order to participate this class. This is a beginner level class.

This is an ongoing class. Students are free to drop in and out at any time. The material is not cumulative.
