Testing strategies is the main focus for this class. The topics that will be covered are time management as a testing strategy, strategy used during the test, and drawing on knowledge and experience to use as a testing strategy. The class structure is mainly informational but I also utilize differentiated instruction as well. I will teach the class using some dry erase boards and some power point slides. The teaching style that I currently use the most is the inquiry method of teaching which is to ask leading questions to help the students come to the correct conclusion. Learners will be able to interact with the teacher and each other during the class and discussion will be encouraged. No experience is required of the student for this class at this time

Hi, I'm Mr. Wilson. I am excited to assist students in learning testing strategies and techniques to increase their scores and to reduce test anxiety. I have been teaching testing strategies for over 10 years as I have worked as an educator and tutor for students ages 8 years old to 18. I have taught several different subjects from High School Social Studies, and High School English to Middle School Math, Science, English and Social Studies. I have been a Special Education teacher going on 8 years and tutor testing strategies for all kinds of test including HSPT, TACHS, ACT, HiSET, SAT, SSAT, ISEE and others. I'm all about differentiated instruction (figuring out what works best for an individual student) and inquiry based learning (asking questions that will lead the student to the answer). Something personal about myself is that I love to work on my Old Pre-1860s House. 評論
