In this 4-day camp, we discuss four things that good scientists do: (1) Ask questions; (2) Make observations; (3) Make predictions; (4) Record their work. Students will practice these four behaviors as they experiment with exciting chemical reactions and engineering challenges, using common, everyday objects you can find at home. Through interactive slideshows, videos, books, and simple experiments, students will explore what "science" is, and will be encouraged to think like scientists. ...
Students learn that there are 4 things scientists do: Make observations, ask questions, record what they see, and work through failures.
I am a certified K-6 teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching students in PreK - 8. I love helping students make connections to the content they are learning in fun and meaningful ways!

I WILL show the pictures on a slideshow as I read.
