Enrolled students will be expected to already have a level of proficiency equivalent to being at the end of Violin or Viola Suzuki Volume 1. The student should already be able to through the whole piece at a steady tempo. It may even be a slow tempo. This class will start with a brief introduction, followed by each student having a 15-minute time slot to perform the piece without the repeats or Da Capo (to save class time) and receive instruction from the teacher. Students will learn strategies to practice this piece. This will help cut down the number of days or weeks spent in mastering this piece. Other musical topics may also be addressed specific to each student's needs.

There will be no formal assessment. The teacher will give oral directions and advice during the masterclass.提供的成績
Students should have the Suzuki Violin or Viola Volume 1 (whichever instrument they play), which includes Gossec Gavotte as the last piece. Measure numbers will be referred to during class, so it will helpful for the student to have this opened and visible.

There is no mature content in this class. It is recommended that the parent take notes during all three performer's portion of the masterclass in order to gain the most from this masterclass and help the child retain the information.
