Students will learn how to combine photographs, pictures from magazines, colors, and other random objects to create an interesting collage. I will go through the steps of the collage process including selecting images and other materials with students and working through the layout of collage designs with them (I will show a couple of potential options for them to choose from). Finally we will secure everything and complete our beautiful collages. No experience is required and all learners are welcome!

Magazines, construction paper, yarn, scissors, glue stick, tape, envelope, anything else that could be an interesting (preferably flat) addition to a collage (pressed flowers, glitter, your own pictures, etc.)

Hello! I'm thrilled to offer a variety of arts and crafts classes for various ages and interests. I just graduated from Covenant College with a Fine Arts Major and a concentration in Photography. I'm excited to teach art, because even in the craziness of the world right now we can still find and create beauty! I would love for those at all levels to find joy and delight in creating unique works of art. Some of my favorite art projects involve photography, collaging and decorative crafts. I have a passion for using what is on hand and transforming it into something new and exciting.
