In this 4-day camp students will learn basic pop-up techniques and make their own pop-up stories (mini books). No prior knowledge needed, just creativity! This course is for beginners. **This course was presented at the Outschool Summer Fair last year (May 2021)** Please see below supplies for this course. Students will cut, fold, and glue paper to create a standing Pop-up System (examples of fold will be provided in class) . This is a fun 3D project where students will experiment with...
Students will experiment with a variety of paper of different sizes, colours and thickness and practice cutting and folding different shapes (organic and geometric). The result is to have fun and create a mini-book by adding some drawings to complete the story. They can even decorate the card the way they like with the materials they already have.
Visual Merchandising Arts Diploma from Seneca College School of Fashion
Card Stock or other heavy-weight paper (a few, different colour) Glue stick / White Glue/ Rubber Cement Scissors Ruler Pencil Crayons/markers/ any other colour pencils to decorate the cards Cutting mat (it can be useful for measurement too (easier than a ruler) so bring one if you have it!)
