Students will learn the difference between shapes and forms. We will practice creating values by first making a value scale, creating values from light to dark. We will move to drawing forms such as a sphere, cube, cylinder and cone. We will discuss how a light source affects the values on an object. I teach my class in a step by step way, to ensure that each student can achieve. Students are encouraged to ask questions and share ideas throughout the class period. No prior art knowledge is...
