聖誕怪傑如何拯救聖誕節 - 聖誕密室逃脫

No, you didn't read the title wrong.  The Grinch is reformed, remember?  And now he wants to save his neighbor, the Humbug, from missing out on the joy of Christmas by the learning its true meaning. 

This escape room is actually an infiltration room.  You will work with your team to help the Grinch break into the Humbug's house and bring Christmas to him.  By learning what the holiday is actually all about, hopefully the Humbug will embrace it and his heart can grow three sizes, or maybe even more!  To break in, you must solve five different Christmas-themed puzzles - jigsaw, solitaire battleship, crossword, and more - and figure out their codes to unlock the Humbug's door.  All information and clues needed are hidden somewhere in the escape room, and I will provide hints if needed.  Once inside, your team will decorate the Humbug's house, filling it with the Christmas spirit.

During class, all students will be oriented to the task, open the presentation, and then be split into teams of no more than 4 to work in breakout rooms.  This will allow students to contribute more meaningfully than working individually or in a large group.  I will be going from room to room to check on students' progress and answer any questions they may have. 

*A Code Sheet will be attached to the enrollment post.  Please print that so your child can use it during the class.*

**To successfully collaborate, students should know how to go between open browser tabs, go between Zoom and the internet, and use Zoom features such as screen sharing and annotation (Note: Chromebooks do not offer the ability to annotate).  If your child is not comfortable with these technology skills, please have an adult nearby to assist.**
